Mediastudies

 The challenges we have in filming is everyone agreeing on a place, time, and day to meet to shoot. not everyone is free or busy on the same day. We are trying to handle these challenges by searching for a day to film and talking to our parents. We all try together to fix our problems and make time to film.  We also had challenges using props and making different lightings in the room we were filming in. 

  Our first filming day was fun. We filmed at my house and our remaining filming schedule will take place on Sunday at 10 am where we will be finish filming our film. Our first video went well, but it needs editing and the sound improved. We need to add other special effects to it also.

Our film is fair, and everyone gets a good role. Our representation is the stereotypical high school students of different ethnicities like Asian and Hispanic. It shows the typical students have a sleepover watching movies and joking around. Everyone gets to be creative with their role and their acting. I don't believe we need to change anything about our characters.

 The two supporting characters are Luciana and Valentina. These characters are played by Barbara and Bianca. They both wear pjs. Luciana has brown hair in a bun and has brown eyes. Valentina has brown hair down and brown eyes. Valentina is always joking, joyful, and fun. Luciana is respectful, kind, and honest. Valentina, Luciana, and Ryley and best friends and love to hang out with each other. Luciana and Dwayne are siblings. Luciana is panicked, scared, and confused. Valentina is panicked but seems a little suspicious, but no one seemed to catch onto that. 

 The two main characters are Ryley and Dwayne which are played by Makayla and Kyle. Ryley has dark brown hair in a braid and brown eyes. She wears Pjs in the film. She is a calm, joyful, supportive friend who likes hanging out with her friends. In the film they are in a sleepover having a fun time until things take a turn for the worse. They found themselves in a life-or-death situation and have to work together to act fast and wisely. Ryley is anxious and worried about what might happen next and if they will all be alive by dawn. She is determined to survive to see another day. Kyle plays the character Dwayne. Dwayne is Luciana's brother. He has curly brown hair and brown eyes. He is first seen in his room, and he wears pjs. Dwayne is an energetic and fun person. He alerts the rest of the bad news, and they work together to stay alive. He is scared and paranoid in the film.

Brother of Luciana who alerts them about a killer on loose he saw on the news. Barbara: Plays the character Luciana. Sister of Dwyane. Friends of Valentina and Ryley. The second person who was killed. Barbara has to play the role of a dead person. Bianca: Plays the character Valentina. Friend of Luciana and Ryley. She was one of the first people "killed" so Bianca plays the role of a dead person. She also plays the role of the killer on the loose. Makayla: Plays the character Ryley Friend of Luciana and Valentina. She is at the sleepover watching her friends get murdered one by one. She is one of the people who finds out who the killer is. We are going to be filming at someone’s house. Where the scenes will be in a bedroom and hallways. Actors: Makayla, Bianca, Barbara Kyle,  Costu...

 In the first couple of the seconds, we will all be wearing pajamas. I will be wearing my hair in a bun, and my teammates will wear their hair down and in a braid. We will be wearing pjs because it will match our theme of a sleepover. After the killer will wear a mask and a black outfit with a hood. The killer will be accessorized with a fake knife.

 We created this storyboard by putting our ideas together and taking turns writing, drawing, and coloring. In our group, we have Makayla, Bianca, Kyle, and I. Makayla did all the drawing and half of the writing. I did the other half of the writing and then Kyle and Bianca helped coloring.
