Movie Opener Brainstorm and Research

Rise: 

Boy practicing soccer in in the field coach/scouter watching him work hard and practice. they use establishing shots over the shoulder extreme close up and wide shots to capture the film. When it comes to camera movement, they use zooms dolly and focus pull/back focus. These observations help us brainstorm our camera movement and shots we should us to brainstorm our camera movement and shots we should use when filming.

Dear lover:

Opening scene sowing credits. girl sitting at the lake alone and sad girlfriend comes sit next to her. the shots used were over the shoulder, overhead and two person shot. there was also a deep voice over the music playing in the background. these help us pick out which music we should pick for our film and theme.

Dare to thrill:

group of kids laughing while walking. They all get in the car with keys and start driving away. an upbeat and fun music plays. at the end in the truck, they see something that scares them. This helps us create our film opener since it sows the dark lighting and fun atmosphere quickly change to a scary mood.

Always watching:

Man talking to woman about stalking. Man was angry about his friend takin everything he likes. kidnapping him seeking revenge. eerie music shots and lighting. they use sound effects and loud audio to show his emotions using close upshots and Jump cuts to show him going insane. We could use jump cuts sound effects and eerie music to create a scary and creepy mood for viewers watching this film.

White coat:

Scientist/doctor working in a la pouring liquid and working on a project with a opening scene sound effects of the light buzzing. Diegetic sounds of liquid pouring and a person tied up. Terrifying ominous music and sound effects being played. dark and overhead lighting and black hues are being used. This helps us identify which mood to create and what type of lighting and color hues we should be using for our film.

 Over the shoulder shot, POV shot     The "Over the shoulder" shot was taken by Chantell. I believe this shot shows a lot of emotion and leaves the viewers wondering what they are talking about. Brother of Luciana who alerts them about a killer on loose he saw on the news. Barbara: Plays the character Luciana. Sister of Dwyane. Friends of Valentina and Ryley. The second person who was killed. Barbara has to play the role of a dead person. Bianca: Plays the character Valentina. Friend of Luciana and Ryley. She was one of the first people "killed" so Bianca plays the role of a dead person. She also plays the role of the killer on the loose. Makayla: Plays the character Ryley Friend of Luciana and Valentina. She is at the sleepover watching her friends get murdered one by one. She is one of the people who finds out who the killer is. Supporting Character analysis Blog Post

 The two supporting characters are Luciana and Valentina. These characters are played by Barbara and Bianca. They both wear pjs. Luciana has brown hair in a bun and has brown eyes. Valentina has brown hair down and brown eyes. Valentina is always joking, joyful, and fun. Luciana is respectful, kind, and honest. Valentina, Luciana, and Ryley and best friends and love to hang out with each other. Luciana and Dwayne are siblings. Luciana is panicked, scared, and confused. Valentina is panicked but seems a little suspicious, but no one seemed to catch onto that.
